I would like to take a moment introduce you to another of our wonderful teachers here at Quilting Weekly.  This lady is very talented in creating her own patterns and designs.  I am sure she will be a great asset to our staff.  Just read what she had to say about herself and I think you will agree.

Hello, my name is Pat Adams and I have been quilting for over twenty years.  I, like many others, had a mother and grandmother who inspired my interest in quilting.  Sewing has been a part of my life since I was a child making Barbie doll clothes. I had always been adventurous with sewing.  I have sewn doll clothes, drapery, clothing (lots!), pillows, costumes, cushion covers, greeting cards, children's books and even a nylon ice fishing shelter.  Quilting, however, has been my focus for the past several years.  I have experimented with many styles of quilting.  Of all things quilting, free motion quilting is my favorite quilting activity.  Once I discovered auto CAD and Electric Quilt, designing blocks, quilts and motifs added a new dimension to the creative process of quilting.  I live in Minnesota, work fulltime in education and have a wonderful family who enthusiastically supports my love of quilting.
