This is our discussion topic for the chatroom this week. So for those of you who can not make the chats feel free to add your questions, or comments on the subject here.
At the end of the week, I will review the chats and see if there were any important tips or questions/answers that would be beneficial to share and will post them the following week in this thread. Each week of a chat, I will open a new thread on the topic of that week, and then the following week add any questions/answers etc. of importance. And again each new topic allows those who can not attend a chat a place to share there thoughts on the subject.
Do you prefer hand quilting or machine quilting?
If you are not able to make the chat, tell us your preferences on quilting here and why you enjoy that method so much. If you have tips to share or techniques that make your quilting easier by all means share those too.

Well as promised the chatroom summary will be posted here. Although this week took me longer to do than I had anticipated. There was so much information, that to write it all out, would have made a very long post.
So instead, I did a video! But the video was over 45 mins long! A video that size would take too long to upload, and too long for you to load the page, depending on your internet speed. That meant I needed to break it into smaller parts. For easier loading.
And of course this week was one of the weeks where there was just to much going on in my personal life, that I didn't get it all finished like promised. (I won't bore you with all the details of my crazy week). I do hope you will be patient with me on this first chat summary, as it will be well worth the wait. And in the future I hope to be more timely.
Here is Part 1 This section is all about marking tools. Enjoy!
