Wow so far it seems that you all have very understanding Husband! Good for you! My hubby does understand my passion and doesn't really try to stop me, however he doesn't understand my long hours on the computer!

It is nice to see some action back in the forum again. I hope this continues. By the way, don't forget to visit the chatroom once in a while. Not sure where it is? Just go to your profile page, or the gallery page and you will see it on the left side of the screen. Simon is working on putting in a link that goes directly to the chat under our goodies tab, so watch for it soon. In the mean time use the above pages to find it, and once you have it you can click the icon with the arrow on it to open it up so that you can continue looking around the site. Hope this helps! See you in the chat room!

Sue I think you mean me, we live in Essex, by the sea. whereabouts do you live? I am always looking for weeks away that cover astronomy and quilting, but have never come across any, or painting which he does too. I am off on a three day free (you do whatever you want, no tutor) quilting course in Ipswich, it is an education college which has rooms where you can stay, is a great time to relax and quilt with like minded people.

Hello Sue,

I tried to answer twice yesrerday but could not up load. I will set up a proper profile when we get back in two weeks. I live in Braintree Essex. It would be nice to get in contact with other quilters in the UK.

I have not been to a class since my friend died in 98. Somehow Debbie and I did not feel like going anymore. We still ran classes ourselves in the village for a while.

I may have to lurk here for another couple of weeks.

Here goes third time lucky
